Very clean for suppressor
Tried my first lb of 244 for a clean suppressed 9mm pcc powder. Very impressive for this use! Low flash, meters great, good sd#s, excellent for suppressed firearms.

A great replacement for the bullseye powder I've been using for millenia ( but unable to obtain for the last couple of years.) Mostly for the 45 acp lead loadings. Works every bit as good, and the brass is much cleaner after shooting it. Meters better than bullseye too. Looks like I've found a permanent replacement.

Plusses
Started using 244 the last two cowboy matches. Meters well in my Lee turret press. The start load for .38 SPL 130 gr. cowboy rounds is 4.6 which doesn't look like much. Until you fire one then you know its plenty. No complaints or misfires yet.

Excellent powder! Meters well. Loaded some .45 ACP with large primers with powder loads in the middle of the recommended range and they performed well. Very pleased. Great doing business with Hodgdon also.

Potent,uses less powder than most grains/load.Clean burning. When it got back on stock, I bought 5 lbs.more! I will most likely stick with this ball powder for my 9mm and 45acp re-loading needs.
