Winchester StaBALL HD

Winchester StaBALL HD is a slow-burning, double-base BALL POWDER propellant engineered for large-capacity magnum cartridges appropriate for its burn speed. Its temperature-insensitive formulation is described as stable in extreme-hot and extreme-cold conditions, giving reloaders a purpose-built option within the StaBALL family.

StaBALL HD is ideal for cartridges such as 6.5 PRC, 7mm Remington Magnum, and .300 PRC, as well as other compatible large-capacity magnum cartridges. Its loading density is optimized for this class of cartridge, while the BALL POWDER format provides precise metering.

Precise metering contributes to improved velocity and lower standard deviations—important elements for match-grade accuracy. Depending on the cartridge, Winchester states that velocity levels obtainable can be 75–100 fps greater than other propellants in its class.

This REACH-compliant propellant also includes copper fouling reducer additives, which contribute to shooting sessions without cleaning the bore. Winchester StaBALL HD is made in the USA and available in 1 lb. and 8 lb. canisters.
