Winchester 748 is a ball powder and the choice for loading 223 Remington cartridges.
The low-flame temperature extends barrel life compared to other similar speed powder. It is also ideal for a wide variety of centerfire rifle loads, including 222 Remington, 30-30 Winchester, 30 Winchester, and up to 458 Winchester Magnum.
Made in the USA.
Available in 1 lb. and 8 lb. containers.

WW748 powder
I only used ball powders. Been reloading for over 40 years. 12 different Calibers. Great accuracy and flows great thru my electronic measure/ scale. Also use 231,296,and760.

Win 748
The Winchester 748 powder is one of the easiest powders to use for reloading. It meters easily in my powder measure as opposed to the tubular shaped or 'stick' powders. The pressure index is also much lower (CUP) yet velocity is not compromised. This means longer barrel life. It is a versatile powder, usable in many different calibers, even the .458 Winchester.

A GOOD VARMINT POWDER IN MY 22-250 AKLY. THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINT IS THE TEMP SENSITIVITY. ON A HOT DAY IT STATRS SHOOTING HIGH. KEEP IT AT A CONSTANT TEMP.

Great powder for lighter bullets in a .308. Also I use it for several loads in 7mm08. Measures consistantly through my powder measure when I am doing high volume loads.
