IMR 7828 SSC®

IMR 7828 SSC is a magnum rifle powder engineered with super-short kernels for improved handling at the loading bench. It has exactly the same burn rate as standard IMR 7828 and uses the same load data, providing a familiar reference for handloaders working with IMR 7828 data.

The SSC design meters virtually as well as a spherical powder. Its super-short kernels allow up to 4% more powder space in the case, an advantage where case capacity is a consideration.

In many loads, IMR 7828 SSC yields more velocity than standard IMR 7828. Published data marks these loads with an asterisk to identify instances where standard IMR 7828 will not fit.

Made in Canada, IMR 7828 SSC is available in 1-pound and 8-pound containers.
