Varget powder is the most accurate powder I have used for the .308 cartridge and very accurate in other cartridges as well.

Varget is my powder of choice for my 35 Whelen and 8X57 Mauser. It gives velocities well above factory loads without signs of excessive pressure. The 35 Whelen was a Remington 700 CDL which has a 3.6" magazine so I was able seat the 250 gr Speer at a C,O.L. of 3.460" which wouldn't fit other magazines. Average velocity was 2570 fps. The 8MM Mauser with a 200 gr Nosler in a 98 Mauser action gave an average velocity of 2650 fps. Varget seems to be the best powder for these under bore capacity cartridges. Good performance in 223 REM also.

I love Varget powder, it is the best powder I have found for 223. I get very good groups with both 55 and 62 grain bullets. It bulks up nicely in the case. My only complaint is I am out and can not find any anywhere right now, 8-31-21.

I have used Varget for many years and always get excellent results. This powder provides consistently good velocity in all temperature conditions.

I reload and shoot all year long. This powder is the most consistent powder I've used, From 20 degree weather up to 110 degree weather. A real unicorn.
