HS-6 is a fine spherical propellant that has wide application in pistol and shotshell.
In pistol, 9mm, 38 Super, 40 S&W and 10mm Auto are some of the cartridges where HS-6 provides top performance.
In shotshell, HS-6 yields excellent heavy field loadings in 28-, 20-, 12- and 10-gauge.
HS-6 is truly an outstanding spherical propellant and identical to Winchester's discontinued 540.

HS 6 powder
I have used Unigue for 9mm 147 grain Hornady XTP or Everglades jhp. For years.,Shooting friendly bowling pin matches .because of recent shortages, I bought some HS6 because it was available. Using 5 grains and a 1.120 length , it is clean burning mild recoil, and meters better than any powder I have used.

I use HS-6 in .40 S&W exclusively due to the very consistent velocities and excellent groups I have managed through my pistol. I reccomend you try it.
