Description
Accurate 2230 is a fast-burning, double-base spherical rifle propellant designed around the .223 Remington. Its spherical form, flow characteristics, and grain size are described as making it ideal for progressive loading.
Beyond .223 Remington, the supplied product information lists Accurate 2230 for many small- and medium-caliber cartridges, including .308 Winchester. It also identifies big-bore straight-wall cartridges such as .458 Winchester as an application.
This product is described as a rifle propellant with broad listed cartridge coverage rather than a single-cartridge powder. As with any propellant selection, the supplied information identifies cartridge examples but does not provide specific charge weights, component combinations, or load data.
Country-of-origin information is inconsistent within the supplied description: embedded source text states “Made in Belgium,” while the visible product paragraph states “Made in USA.” Confirm the origin on the product label or with the seller before purchase if this detail is important.

aa2230
2230 is my go to for 223 Remington or 5.56 Nato. I've loaded this powder for 25 years, meters well and very accurate. Only problem, I want to purchase 1lb in 10 case quantity and can't find it anywhere.

2230
Ordered what I could find here which is unusual that you can buy anything direct anymore. Shipment came quickly. H335 will always be my favorite 5.56 powder, but 2230 is quite good as well and was thankful Hodgdon is at least letting us order 5 pounds so I shared amongst friends so we can all shoot a little.

This powder is fantastic in my 223. It measures well with my auto scale. Group sizes and speed are very consistent. Definitely recommend this powder for the 223.
