Accurate 2015®

I bought 2 lbs of the AA2015 based on the ballistic data shown on the Hodgdon Reloading Data. I have a Winchester Big Bore in 444 Marlin with a 20" barrel. The velocities from all load levels when shooting a 240 grain Sierra Sportsman bullet are way below published data, even accounting for a shorter barrel. A max load of AA2015 genrates a little over 2000 FPS at the muzzle compared to published data of of over 2300 fps MV. I compared this to a max load of IMR 4198. The IMR powder generated expected velocities handicapped for barrel length. So, I cannot recommend the AA2015 for the 444 Marlin. I have yet to try this powder on other rifle calibers for which this powder is suited. But, for the 444 Marlin I am very disappointed with the G1 performance. Unless I get nominal performance from other caliber reloads this will be the last t ime I purchase Accurate 2015.

A great powder for 45-70 government. 2015 powder is very versatile for the 45/70 round from moderate loads to maximum. This powder combined with the Hodgdon load calculator is all you need for the 45-70 load.

Great powder in my Remington 700V in 221 Fireball. Accuracy is sufficient to put my 35gr BERGERS where they need to be on a prairie dog @250+ yds.

In regards to the .6 BR rem,2015 is a outstanding powder.

I use it loading 223/5.56 and it works well

Have used for years and have never been disappointed
