Originally a military powder featured in the 30-06, IMR 4895 is extremely versatile as a medium burn speed propellant. From the 17 Remington to the 243 Winchester to the 375 H&H Magnum, accuracy and performance are excellent. In addition, it is a longtime favorite of Match shooters.

As far as I am concerned, this powder is the best choice for service rifle loads in my M1 and M1A platforms.

Using same pressure limits of Win308, IMR4895 behaves fenomenal on 9.3x62 (provided that your 9.3x62 rifle is a new one). The best guidance is comparing Sectional Density of bullets on both calibers.

This powder is a great powder for the money . iv been loading with it for 30 years, but never have such a hard time getting some. please step up production . because im sure we all would like to just order it with ease.

42.1 grains imr 4995 150 grain Hornady SST , Winchester large rifle primer loaded in Winchester brass , are my go to loads in .308 win . I just wish I could get this powder easier.

I bought this powder because it will work with any rifle I shoot. this will allow me to keep reloading without looking for more powder.
