Description
Hodgdon H50BMG is a new-generation Extreme extruded rifle propellant designed expressly for the .50 caliber BMG cartridge. It is a clean-burning powder made for handloaders working with this specialized rifle cartridge.
H50BMG shares the same technology as Hodgdon Varget, giving it a high degree of thermal stability in temperature extremes. For shooters loading across changing conditions, that temperature stability is a central part of the powder’s design.
Tests have conclusively shown very low extreme spreads in velocity and pressure with H50BMG. In practical terms, that consistency translates into small groups at extended ranges.
H50BMG is made in Australia and is offered in 1 lb. and 8 lb. containers. As with any propellant, use only published Hodgdon reloading data and follow all label directions and safety precautions.

Hodgdon 50 BMG powder
Hodgdon 50 BMG powder is the only powder I use for my 30-378 Wby Mag. I use 180gr & 165gr bullets and this powder delivers great accuracy plus performance. A great benefit also, is that it doesn't heat the casing much at all. I just wish I could find this powder.
