Product Overview
H4831SC is an Extreme extruded powder and the exact ballistic copy of H4831. Physically, it has a shorter grain size which earned it the “SC” designation for “short cut.” The shorter, more compact kernels allow the powder to flow through the powder measures more smoothly, helping to alleviate the constant cutting of granules. With the smoother flow characteristics comes more uniform charge weights, while the individual grains orient more compactly, creating better loading density.
As an Extreme Extruded propellant, it shares the fine quality of insensitivity to hot and cold temperatures, as well as superb uniformity from lot to lot.
It is a favorite for cartridges like the 270 Winchester, 25-06 Remington, 280 Remington and 300 Winchester Magnum.

Powder was quickly shipped and went right to work with my 22 Creedmoor. Fire forming new cases showed consistent results down range. Having purchased 5 pounds, I believe I’m good for awhile.

Wonderful Powder! This has been my "go to" powder for magnum rifle loads for years now. Sub Moa groups at 300 meters with a factory built Rem. 700 and Hornady Bullets.

Meters well and consistently give me good SD’s and ES’s with 225 ELD-M’s. MV stays pretty consistent even at wide temperature ranges.

the best ,almost, all round gun powder for almost all calibers to magnums. Primer CCI #250. Use only this 1 powder and us 1 type of primer. Cal.: 257 wby mag, 25-06, 270 win, 7 rem mag, 7 wby mag, 300 wby mag, 338 win mag. All hitting within 1". Just adjust the volume of powder. No complaints
