Description
This was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant when Bruce “B.E.” Hodgdon first used it. When a 38.0 grain charge behind a 52 grain bullet gave one hole groups from his 22-caliber wildcat (now called the 22-250), he appropriately named the powder H380. H380 is also a superb performer in the 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts and other fine varmint cartridges.

H 380 Powder
I got this powder because it was all that was available. Worked up loads for 6.5 creedmoor to 36.5 grains and shot 1/2” group at 100 yds. This powder meters great and is really accurate.

Great powder for my 22-250. Used it for about 5 years and no reason to change. My Cooper Arms will shot 1/2 MOA groups at 200 Years.

After finding load data from Hodgdon Data Manual no.25 I found some great loads for 77grain .223 . Very tight grouping.
