Description
This was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant when Bruce “B.E.” Hodgdon first used it. When a 38.0 grain charge behind a 52 grain bullet gave one hole groups from his 22-caliber wildcat (now called the 22-250), he appropriately named the powder H380. H380 is also a superb performer in the 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts and other fine varmint cartridges.

Reloading 22-250 w/H380
Replaced reloading my 22-250 rem with IMR 4064 to H380 because of availability and experienced no difference in performance with Hornady 55 gr. FMJ/BT

300 wsm Tikka
My wife’s tikka is very temperamental when it come to reloads, by far the best powder I have used is the H380. 60grs with 168gr Ablr nosler. It is a tack driver now. Just hard to find other components for her gun. Thank you guys for making quality product.

H380 Powder
Powder works well with a variety of bullets out of a 257 Roberts (87 and 100 grain Sierra bullets). Lot of game harvested. Also works great out of eldest son's 7mm-08 (120 - 150 grain bullets from various manufacturers). For that rifle, the powder is what controls group size. Both rifles, various bullets, all sub MOA (stock rifles).
