I have use many powders in the past for loading shotgun shells and find Clays to be the very best. Meters well in my reloader and burns very clean with a minimum of recoil.

Hodgdon Clays Powder
I have been using Hodgdon Clays powder for 8 years for most of my cowboy action shooting requirements. In my opinion, it is one of the best powders for the cowboy loads i use. I also am very appreciative that Hodgdon makes an effort to sell powder directly to consumers. Many of us in rural America do not live nearby the big box sporting goods stores or even smaller ones that have good selections of powder. Thank you Hodgdon for doing that.
