A spherical powder, BL-C(2) began as a military powder used in the 7.62 NATO and naturally has applications for 308 Winchester.
When it was first introduced to the handloader, benchrest shooters and other target shooters made it an instant success. BL-C(2) works extremely well in the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington, 17 Remington, 22 PPC and many more.

Clean burning and useful for a wide variety of calibers.

So far this powder has performed well in my 308.
I purchased this powder to use in my 308 and my 30 06. First trial in 308 was at low volume and shot a decent group. A lot of trials to go.

BL-C(2) Powder - Not just for 7.62 NATO/.308 Win.
My passion is working up accurate handloads for vintage military bolt-action rifles, my favorite of which is the many iterations of the venerable Lee Enfield family of rifles. I have worked up fabulously accurate handloads using BL-C(2) with the .303 British cartridge in my BSA No.1 MkIII and my Long Branch No.4 MkI. Even with the thin, 100 yr. old whippy barrel in the No.1 I have a load that shoots into 1 1/2 MOA and 1 MOA with the 88 year old two groove No.4. This is as good or better than many of my modern rifles. Do yourself a favor and don't overlook the versatility of this excellent powder from Hodgdon!

Good Powder for .375 H&H
I use this powder to load for my .375 H&H magnum. With 250 grain Sierra bullets, it yields a muzzle velocity of 2840 fps, much higher than any other powder I've tried. The resulting trajectory is about the same as my .30-06 w/165 grain bullets and my .300 WSM w/180 grain bullets. Accuracy is about 1.5 MOA. It also meters well.
