Product Overview
Accurate 2460 is a fast burning, double-base, spherical rifle powder that is a slower derivative of the AA2230 powder. It is suitable for small and medium sized caliber applications but with slightly higher loading densities than AA2230. It provides an additional option for shooters to fine tune and optimize loads and combinations with calibers ranging from the 223 Rem to the 308 Win. 2460 is within the threshold limit for M14 systems. Made in the USA.

I came across this powder about 30 years ago. No better powder for 308 Winchester. I shoot 1" groups at 300yds with a Remington 700ADL. No other powder can match this consistency shot after shot.

Accurate 2460 is turning out to be a excellent preformer in my 308 Winchester! Shooting just under a 1” group at 100 yards with the first load I tried. I’m looking forward to seeing just how good this preforms!

Have been suing this powder for years. Equal to or a shade better than AA2230 for my .223 loads. Glad to get a jug of it!

We use this for several calibers and have found it works very well. It meters very good in our powder measures.

I load using basic tools including a measuring cup, a trickler and a balance. This process gets me close and personal to all my gear and the powder being measured. 2460 is a spherical powder quite different from cylindrical extruded powder. Not surprisingly I have found the ability to meter out exact weights of powder and improve down range consistency is significantly enhanced. I look forward to the construction of several more load ladders with some different weights of 6.5 mm bullets.
