5 Excellent powder or handguners
Posted by Don D on Jun 13th 2024
Due to a shortage of many powders I was forced to try new powders and decided to give Nitro100NF a try. I found good loading data and tried N100NF in a variety of standard pressure cartridges, 380 acp, 38 special, 9mm, 45 acp and 45 Colt using a variety of polymer coated cast and jacketed bullets with excellent results. I load on a Dillon press generally and find N100NF meters consistently in both the Dillon, RCBS and Little Dandy powder measures. I shoot a lot of mild loads and find even at minimum loads it’s very clean with very little carbon blowback on the cases. In large cases and small charges with many other powders, I’ve experienced very inconsistent velocities and position sensitivity. With N100NF I’ve had much better consistency and found no position sensitivity. Accuracy is very good and recoil is mild. N100NF has become one of my favorite powders.

Have not tried this new product yet, but I have used the past product of the original Nitro 100. I loved this product and hope this new formula performs as well.
