Unlike pistol powders of the past, powder position in large cases (45 Colt, 357 Magnum and others) has virtually no effect on velocity and performance. Cowboy Action, Bullseye and Combat Shooters should love this one!

Great short range powder. Loads great. Love it

Tite Group
I have been using Tite Group for over 10 years, for loading short barreled: .357 mag; .44 special and .45 acp. I like that it's clean and fast burning in my 2 1/8" barrel .357; 3" barrel .44 and 4 1/2" barrel .45. I just wish there was more load data for lead bullets in short barrels.

Shotshell reloading
I've found titegroup to be an excellent powder to use for shotshell reloading. It burns clean and the burn rate is excellent for trap loads as well as sporting clays. It's a great powder for 9mm and 45acp as well. Very thankful for Hodgdon products and customer service.
