It's my goto powder for mid range 357 loads with 158 gr cast bullets. One hole 5 shot groups offhand at 15 yards out of a 3" Kimber K6s just works for me.

Great for shotgun and pistol
This is the best powder for 1-1/4oz. 12 ga. Heavy field loads as well as easy shooting large caliber handgun loads.

Loaded 100 slugs today in different configurations and shot all 100 sighting in 4 guns at different ranges. I couldnt be happier with the choice of hs6. It's great powder and the people at hodgdon really do stand behind their products. I will be a life long customer!
