HS-6 is a fine spherical propellant that has wide application in pistol and shotshell.
In pistol, 9mm, 38 Super, 40 S&W and 10mm Auto are some of the cartridges where HS-6 provides top performance.
In shotshell, HS-6 yields excellent heavy field loadings in 28-, 20-, 12- and 10-gauge.
HS-6 is truly an outstanding spherical propellant and identical to Winchester's discontinued 540.
Made in the USA.

Clean burning and great for 9mm & 38 special. Who thought purchasing directly from Hodgdon was possible but it was the easiest!

A great powder for a couple of my pistol calibers. Hazmat fee was too high is my main complaint.

It's my goto powder for mid range 357 loads with 158 gr cast bullets. One hole 5 shot groups offhand at 15 yards out of a 3" Kimber K6s just works for me.
