Description

This spherical propellant yields top velocities in many cartridges such as the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 22-250 Remington and the 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, plus many, many more.

CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time.

Being a spherical powder, metering is superbly accurate.

Made in the USA. 

Available in 1 lb. and 8 lb. containers.

    Very consistent metering and velocities. Copper fouling is noticeably less. Love the fact that one powder makes top notch loads for two of my favorite cartridges. I always keep some on hand.

    Have used this powder for loads from 5.56mm to 7.62mm and in between with very good results.

    This powder shot Hornady 75s better than H4895. I will switch to this powder for that bullet. It did not do as well with other bullets I tried it with but the 75s are my go to.

    The CFE223 product received was as advertised. This powder worked well during reloading process and metered well thru the powder dispenser. Range test was very good ( I am a plinker not a precision shooter ). I wish to add the Hodgson online ordering was simple and easy to complete purchase. The shipping / delivery was outstanding. I will purchase this product again.

    Only powder I've found to date that truly shoots well in 224 Valkyrie without going over pressure. Maintains velocity without having to load max.
