sections missing, ie; federal shell data for 20 ga. Lack of update, ie; 2019 edition the same as the 2023 edition which is the same as the 2006 and 2007 editions. Nice that it includes new powders.

easy to read format

Idk why hodgdon keeps listing wads for taper hulls in straight walled hulls. I load clear hulls and the powder migration is clearly visible. I use pieces of paper towels around the gas seal to stop it. You would think they would jump into the modern era and use better wads.

First 17 pages were very informative and I liked the descriptions of the various powders. I think the reloading data was very incomplete (obvious not a handbook on reloading), although not a handbook it does give info of the newest cartridges not yet published. There was no reference to the 6.5 Gendel eventhough it referenced the 6mm ARC, both of which are relative newbee's. In the shotgun area there was no mention of Fiocchi cases. This is becoming a prominent case at a lot of gun clubs for skeet, trap, and sporting clays. Good starting reference with instructions on going to website for up-to-date data on page 3.

Good information, but I was disappointed that it did not contain 9MM reloading data. Earlier editions included this data.

LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE 2024 ISSUE.

I was a little surprised that this was such a limited manual. All the manuals in the past were Annual Issues. This manual had very limited data compared to the annual issue.
