2025 Basic Reloading Manual

I mostly reload obsolete calibers. A good reference for Newbie's to the fun of reloading and honing in on their recipe preferences.

Excellent product; it has all the information I need to successfully reload.

Good stuff

There are 55 rifle powders and 28 pistol powders from the 5 powder brands covered in this manual. It is all covered in less than 10 pages for rifle and 3 pages for pistol. A lot of cartridges are left out. More important, there is some questionable, possibly dangerous data for some cartridges that are usually chambered in the AR-15. The direct impingement gas system of the AR-15 is intended to use medium burn rate powders, and not slow burning powders, they can create unusually high pressure in the bolt and carrier, especially in carbine and pistol gas tube lengths. Yet this manual has data for very slow burning powders for cartridges that are intended for the AR-15. In addition there is little data for some of the best powders for the AR-15. Also, there is no information on barrel length.

Very good condensed manual. Quite a few popular calibers and loading data.

Checking thru the manual it did not contain any information on the cartridges I load. They are not standard cartridges, and for a beginner in reloading it seems adequate. I also did contain information on some newer offerings by firearm manufacturers.

If you're a serious reloader, you need this manual. I've been reloading since 1958 & still use these manuals (since 1992) as a terrific source for loading data. Hodgdons pow were on my dad's bench since they opened in 1949. Still the best!!!

Nice manual good information for the price
