This spherical propellant yields top velocities in many cartridges such as the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 22-250 Remington and the 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, plus many, many more.
CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time.
Being a spherical powder, metering is superbly accurate.
Made in the USA.
Available in 1 lb. and 8 lb. containers.

The velocities I'm getting with this powder in my 7-08 are outstanding. And I love the way it meters. This powder is definitely worth trying!

Great powder for consistent grouping in .223 and .308. Originally purchased for target loads but it is a fine powder for many different Hunting loads.

This powder works great in my Grendel with 123 grain bullets. Good velocity low deviations.

I was introduced to CFE223 several years ago, and use it exclusively for reloading .308 for my Ruger Precision Rifle and Howa 1500. The powder burns clean and I get absolutely great results from it. It's been a little hard to find during the pandemic, but fortunately Hogddon had some in stock and I was able to stock back up - which is great because it means more shooting for me! I also use it for reloading .223, but I have been shooting less .223 over the past year.
