This spherical propellant yields top velocities in many cartridges such as the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 22-250 Remington and the 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, plus many, many more.
CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser ingredient, originally used in military propellant, which greatly deters copper fouling and contributes to longer periods of top accuracy with less barrel cleaning time.
Being a spherical powder, metering is superbly accurate.

This is my second 8 pounder. I usually reload 1000 rounds at a time. I set my powder measure and check every 10th round and have never needed to adjust it. This powder meters very well. The charge I use leaves perfect head space. I also use Hodgden powders for all the hand gun cartridges I reload from 25 auto to 44 magnum. Never had a problem or a complaint.

"Go to" for .223 and .308
Very consistent metering and velocities. Copper fouling is noticeably less. Love the fact that one powder makes top notch loads for two of my favorite cartridges. I always keep some on hand.
